Rùn's Chicken & Sweet Potato
Rùn's Chicken & Sweet Potato recipe has been designed by a top canine nutritionist, who is pioneering the science behind cold pressed pet food. This adult dog recipe doesn't contain any trace elements or 'fancy-sounding herbs' and 'super foods', just to make them look good, but does contain a bespoke 'Joint Premix' ensuring everything is perfectly balanced. Here are the Rùn's seven Must-Haves for every recipe:
1). Top quality ingredients
Using the highest quality meat and fish, this recipe contains absolutely nothing that we wouldn't eat ourselves, so definitely no 'meat and animal derivatives', or the equally concerning 'derivatives of vegetable origin'.
2). Meat first
Meat should always be the primary ingredient in a dog food.
3). Honest meat content
Meat is listed by its dried weight, meaning what you see is what you get. Whenever a meat is described as 'fresh' in a dry food, the true amount in the end product is considerably lower than listed. As a rough guide, approximately 70% of 'fresh meat' is water...
4). Single-source animal proteins and fats
Rùn design recipes that don't over complicate things. In 9 years of dog food research, a common complaint they've heard is mixed proteins and hidden fats. That's why their foods all stick to just one animal source for our protein and fat.
5). Grain-free
You won't find any grains or cereals in their foods. One huge benefit to cold-pressed ingredients is their digestibility, so they don't counteract that by including anything that dogs struggle to digest.
6). Diversified carbohydrates
Without grains in the recipes, it is vital not to lean on anyone non-meat ingredient. Their nutritionist has used her extensive knowledge to carefully balance the amount of each ingredient used, ensuring a balance of diverse carbohydrates for maximum impact.
7). Joint pack
A specially designed 'joint pack' premix is unique to all the Rùn recipes. Specific ingredients to help support healthy joints. Perfect for all that rùnning around!

Feeding guide & helpful hints
This product can be fed dry or moistened. Our own dogs love it when we add warm water, stir and leave to sit for two minutes before serving. Their absolute favourite way to eat it is when we weigh out some dust from the bottom of the bag and make a warm gravy.
Take your time when switching over from another brand or food type, particularly if your dog is used to extruded kibble. At first, some dogs may appear hungrier than usual between meals, because this food will not expand in their stomachs as kibble does. This should settle quickly, as their digestive systems adjust to the new diet.
Cold pressed food is completely compatible with raw feeding.
Always ensure that clean fresh drinking water is available at all times
